Also known as inventories, measurements, questionnaires, and scales, psychological tests are administered in a variety of settings, including preschools, primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities, hospitals, outpatient healthcare settings, social agencies, prisons, and employment or human resource offices. They come in a variety of formats, including written, verbal, and computer administered.
Psychological testing is divided into four primary types:
1) Assessment of Intellectual Functioning (IQ Test)-
Your IQ — intellectual quotient — is a theoretical construct of a measure of general intelligence. It’s important to note that IQ tests do not measure actual intelligence — they measure what we believe might be important components of intelligence.
2) Aptitude Test-
Aptitude Test are used to obtain a clear profile of the individual, which facilitate the process of decision-making. This is done through our below mentioned modules
After the Aptitude Test, a Career Action Plan is drawn during the Counselling session along with Parents, Guardians, wherein various career options are discussed. A Career Guidance session is also conducted for individuals who wish to plan their career path with the help of Counselors.
3) Learning Disability(LD)-
We offer comprehensive Learning Disability for children, teenagers and adults with concerns about learning, memory, language skills, attention/concentration, and emotional/behavioral disruptions.
Learning disability testing is designed to determine the causes of academic difficulties and help decide what accommodations can be made to help an individual improve his or her academic performance. Many people assume that academic difficulties are the result of low intelligence. This is often not the case.
4) Personality Test-
A personality test is a questionnaire or other standardized instrument designed to reveal aspects of an individual's character or psychological makeup. Personality is helpful for managing people and for understanding yourself. You should also consider using personality tests if you are recruiting or developing people. A personality test aims to describe aspects of a person's character that remain stable throughout that person's lifetime, the individual's character pattern of behavior, thoughts, and feelings. Personality tests are used to determine your type of personality, your values, interests and your skills.
5) Interest tests-
Interest tests assess the various “interests” of an individual and classify them into high, medium or low. It is always better to choose a career where one’s interest is high because, only then the person will find the job interesting. His productivity and personal job satisfaction will be high in such jobs.
